We hope you enjoyed Bonfire night this week and are looking forward to more fireworks display this weekend! Our very own Epsom Fireworks is happening on tonight at Hook Road Arena. Tickets are now sold out and tickets are not sold at the gates so do not travel unless you have a ticket!

The days are getting shorter and it's getting harder to get out of bed in the mornings. This only means that cold season have well and truly started. Whilst some of us can afford to focus on the positive aspects of this time of the year (e.g. layers, pretty autumn leaves, soups!), the reality of cost of living and energy crises mean some of us just can’t justify turning the heating on the whole day.

The Warm Welcome scheme was introduced across venues in Surrey back in 2022. This year, there are 9 venues in Epsom where residents can access free hot drinks and other support services between November and March. It is a space that people can come to to:

This Sunday, there is a Remembrance Day procession and service starting with wreath-laying at the War Memorials on Ashley Road, Epsom at 9.30AM followed by a parade from the Army Reserve Centre in Welbeck Close to St Mary’s Church, Ewell where the main service takes place.

If staying around for an afternoon of reflection and commemoration, Epsom Playhouse is hosting Through the Years: A Tribute to Service and Sound Honouring 80 Years of Music, Legacy, and Remembrance (from £15)

Our local MP Helen Maguire is inviting young creatives from Epsom and Ewell to design her official Christmas card for 2025! The competition is open to all primary school aged children living in the constituency. A great excuse to bring all the felt tips and glitters out!
